From 7 schools to 10

Seven School Companions are already present

Vazhai now has seven School Companions serving children across seven remote government schools. The schools named in this update are:

They support foundational learning, track attendance, work with headmasters, and visit families when a child starts to disappear from school.

Three more schools, three more companions

Before the next phase, Vazhai will identify three additional schools where distance, staffing, and family circumstances make consistent support difficult. Each new companion means another trained adult present every school day.
