1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vazhai website (vazhai.in), donating, or signing up as a volunteer, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.

2. Donations

2.1 Payment Processing. All donations are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-compliant payment gateway. Vazhai does not store or have access to your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Razorpay over an encrypted connection.

2.2 No 80G Tax Exemption. Vazhai does not hold 80G or 12A registration under the Indian Income Tax Act. Donations made to Vazhai are not tax-deductible in India. Your full donation goes to field operations.

2.3 Refund Policy. Donations are non-refundable unless made in error (e.g., duplicate transaction, incorrect amount). Please contact us at vazhai.connect@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction if you believe an error has occurred. Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days.

2.4 Monthly Subscriptions. Monthly donations are recurring subscriptions billed via Razorpay. You may cancel at any time from your Razorpay customer dashboard, or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future billing; past donations remain non-refundable.

2.5 Donor Information. We collect your name, email, phone, address, and PAN for donation processing and receipting. This data is stored securely and not shared with third parties except as required for payment processing (Razorpay) or legal compliance.

3. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse the website, including attempting to disrupt services, scraping data, or transmitting harmful code. Vazhai reserves the right to restrict access to any user who violates these terms.

4. Volunteer & Job Applications

Submitting an application via the website does not guarantee placement or employment. Vazhai reviews applications on a rolling basis and will contact applicants who are shortlisted. Personal information submitted during the application process is used solely for evaluation and communication.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Vazhai unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose content without prior written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Vazhai is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or donation services. Our total liability is limited to the amount of your most recent donation.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
